St. George's Parish Church in Qormi is one of the oldest and most historically significant parishes in Malta. While the parish dates back to the 15th century, the current church building was constructed in the 16th century and later embellished with Baroque elements. The interior is home to several priceless artworks, most notably a titular painting of the martyrdom of St. George by the celebrated artist Mattia Preti.
