Visiting
The Nairobi Terminus (SGR) is a modern station open to passengers and visitors. The public area includes the entrance hall with ticket counters and a waiting lounge; platforms require a valid ticket.
Typical hours
The station is usually open from early morning until late evening, according to SGR train schedules. First trains depart around 6 a.m., last around 8 p.m., the foyer stays open until 10 p.m.

Photography of the modern architecture is allowed in the entrance hall, but on platforms only with permission. Do not use flash and do not photograph security personnel.
Time needed
A 15-30 minute visit is enough to see the elegant design of the terminus. If interested in an SGR departure, allow extra time for boarding and waiting.
