Roccalumera is a pleasant coastal settlement on the eastern coast of Sicily, situated on the shores of the Ionian Sea between Messina and Taormina. The town is famous for its long, pebbly and sandy beaches, as well as its crystal-clear, deep blue water. The historical atmosphere is completed by medieval watchtowers and traditional Sicilian architecture. The long seafront promenade (lungomare) is well-suited for evening strolls, cycling, and enjoying the sea air, while the views of the distant mountains are simply striking. The local beach life is lively yet retains a family-friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Well-equipped beach facilities provide excellent services for bathers. The Play's Beach bar and the Sole Beach bar are popular meeting points that offer refreshing cocktails, cold drinks, and light summer meals alongside sun loungers and umbrellas.
