Especially on hot summer days, the Waldsee Raunheim, also known as Pinta Beach, attracts recreation seekers from the entire region. The clear quarry lake features fine sandy beaches, a modern wakeboard facility, and spacious sunbathing lawns, creating a holiday atmosphere right in the middle of the Rhine-Main area. For active visitors, the Main cycle path, which runs directly along the shore, is a good starting point for extensive tours towards Mainz or Frankfurt. The town's history is deeply connected to the river and shipping, which is reflected in the local architecture and the old lock system.
