Senden is the second-largest town in the Neu-Ulm district of Bavarian Swabia, positioned on the Iller river which forms the border with Baden-Württemberg. Originally an agricultural village, Senden underwent rapid industrialization after World War II, evolving into a modern urban center and a major regional shopping destination.
