Aubigny-Les Clouzeaux is a newly formed municipality in the Vendée department of western France, established on January 1, 2016, following the merger of Aubigny and Les Clouzeaux. This strategic union was designed to harmonize the growth of these two historically agricultural communities located on the doorstep of La Roche-sur-Yon. The town benefits from its proximity to major transport axes and the economic dynamism of the Vendée region. Cultural landmarks include the Church of Saint-Laurent and the Church of Saint-Pierre, each representing the unique identity of the founding villages. In recent years, the municipality has invested heavily in sustainable urban development, creating new residential areas integrated with the natural 'bocage' landscape. With a population exceeding 7,000, it features a wide range of services, including modern schools, cultural centers, and extensive sports facilities, fostering a lively community spirit while maintaining a high standard of living.
