Akkapeli Peak is a prominent elevation in the Kyrenia Mountains, situated east of the central Pentadaktylos ridge. Reaching a height of approximately 700 meters, it is part of the rugged limestone chain that dominates the northern horizon of Cyprus. Geologically, the peak is characterized by steep rock faces and karst features typical of the range's sedimentary limestone. Historically, the area around Akkapeli served as a lookout point, offering strategic views over the Mesaoria Plain and the northern coastal strip.
