Stranići kod Nove Vasi is a peaceful Istrian village located only about 6 kilometers from the tourist center of Poreč. It provides the great combination of rural idyll and quick accessibility to the Adriatic coast. The village's architecture is typical for Western Istria, with houses made of light limestone and well-kept gardens where grapes and olives thrive. One of the biggest attractions in the immediate vicinity is the Baredine Cave, a geomorphological natural monument. The cave is known for its impressive stalactites and stalagmites, as well as for the olm, a rare species of amphibian living in the underground lakes.
