Water temperature…
Rupe is located in the hinterland of Skradin, directly on the border of the Krka National Park. The settlement is situated in a natural depression, which gives it a particularly mild microclimate and fertile soil. The village is a true oasis of greenery where olives, wine, and figs grow in abundance. Traditional architecture made of white Dalmatian stone defines the look of the narrow streets. For visitors, Rupe is an excellent starting point for exploring the less crowded parts of the Krka National Park. In the immediate vicinity is the viewpoint overlooking the Visovac monastery on its small island, as well as the spectacular Roški slap waterfall. The area is handy for hiking and cycling through the karst landscape, where you frequently encounter hidden springs and streams. In Rupe, you can get to know the authentic Dalmatian way of life. Local farmers offer homemade olive oil, wine, and the famous ham (pršut). There are several agrotourism farms serving traditional dishes. The tranquility of the place, combined with proximity to one of Croatia's most beautiful national parks, makes Rupe an under-the-radar destination for nature and culture lovers.
