Cristo de la Concordia is a monumental statue of Jesus Christ located atop San Pedro Hill in Cochabamba, serving as one of Bolivia's most iconic landmarks. Standing at 34.20 meters tall (totaling 40.44 meters with its pedestal), it was the largest statue of Christ in the world upon its completion in 1994, surpassing even Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro. Designed by sculptors César and Walter Terrazas Pardo and made from reinforced concrete and fiberglass, the statue symbolizes the peace and unity of the Bolivian people. Visitors can reach the summit via a cable car, by climbing more than 1,300 steps, or by road, enjoying a spectacular 360-degree view of the entire Cochabamba valley. On specific days, it is possible to enter the interior of the statue and climb up to the arms to look through small viewing windows.
