Getting there
Located just south of Cox's Bazar, it is easily accessible via the scenic Marine Drive road. Taxis, local buses, and auto-rickshaws run frequently to the beach area.
Best season
The cooler winter months from November to February offer the most pleasant weather and calmest seas. The monsoon season brings heavy, constant rain and rough waves.
Terrain & paths
The beautiful beach is characterized by extensive, sharp coral boulders scattered across sandy stretches. The intertidal zone can be extremely slippery and uneven.
What to bring
Protective water shoes or sturdy sandals are essential to prevent deep cuts from the sharp corals. Good sun protection and light, breathable coastal clothing are advised.
Parking
Informal but convenient parking areas are available along the Marine Drive near the main beach access points. Parking here is generally quite safe during daylight hours.
