Located south of Punta Tombo, this protected area features a more intimate and quiet wildlife viewing experience. It is home to a significant colony of Magellanic penguins, which spreads across the rocky cliffs and pebble beaches. Visitors can walk on well-marked trails that pass very close to the nests without disturbing the animals. In addition to the penguins, Cabo Dos Bahías is an excellent place to observe guanacos, rheas, and a variety of seabirds. The landscape is of a rugged beauty, with the deep blue sea crashing against the reddish rocks of the coast, offering an authentic and less crowded alternative to the larger reserves in the region.
