L'Aldosa de Canillo is a peaceful residential and holiday village in the Canillo parish, distinguished by its traditional Andorran architecture and close connection to the natural environment. The village is perched on the slopes above the Valira d'Orient river, offering expansive views of the surrounding valley. Historically, L'Aldosa was a significant agricultural hub, a heritage visible in the many preserved fieldstone walls and ancient granaries. The village buildings are constructed almost entirely from local stone and slate, giving the settlement a highly authentic visual character. The area around L'Aldosa features numerous hiking trails leading into higher mountain reaches, as well as paths for horseback excursions, for which the village is locally famous. Its proximity to central Canillo provides residents and visitors with quick access to the Grandvalira cable car and the Palau de Gel ice rink.
