Bushat is a prominent municipality in Shkodër County, situated in the fertile Zadrima plain of northwestern Albania. The settlement is inextricably linked to the history of the Bushatllinj dynasty, who ruled as semi-autonomous Pashas over the Pashalik of Scutari during the 18th and 19th centuries, leaving a lasting mark on the region.
