Mazowe Citrus Estate, located in the easy on the eye Mazowe Valley, is one of Zimbabwe's most renowned agricultural facilities and is synonymous with the country's beverage industry. Established in the early 20th century, the estate grew to become one of the largest citrus producers in sub-Saharan Africa. The heart of its operations is the production of the famous "Mazowe Orange Crush," a concentrate found in nearly every Zimbabwean household. The plantations span thousands of hectares of orange, lemon, and lime trees, irrigated by the waters of the Mazowe Dam. Beyond juice extraction, the estate operates modern processing plants to produce essential oils and concentrates for international export. Now part of the Schweppes group, the company plays a vital role in the regional economy and employs a large seasonal workforce. The sustainable management and the integration of farming with industrial processing make Mazowe a flagship model for Zimbabwe's agribusiness sector.

The Mazowe Citrus Estate in Zimbabwe is one of the largest citrus plantations in Southern Africa with integrated processing. It produces oranges, grapefruits, and lemons for local market and export, and operates a juice factory on site.

An excellent viewpoint is the hill south of the estate, from where you can overlook the symmetrical citrus groves and irrigation system. The visitor center terrace also has a beautiful panoramic view.
