Khor Fakkan

Khor Fakkan is an easy on the eye port city of the Emirate of Sharjah on the UAE's east coast, situated along the Gulf of Oman. The city is framed by the rugged foothills of the Hajar Mountains, creating a unique geographical setting that differs significantly from the flat desert landscapes of the west coast. Its deep-sea port is one of the region's major container terminals, benefiting from its strategic location outside the sensitive Strait of Hormuz.
