Visiting
The Museum of Islamic Art is open daily to visitors and is one of the most important sights in Doha. Most of the collection is housed in air-conditioned galleries that are comfortably walkable.
Typical hours
Regular opening hours are typically 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, but on Fridays only from 1:30 PM. Tuesdays the museum is usually closed, which should be confirmed on the current website.
Photography
Photography without flash is allowed in the permanent exhibitions. In temporary exhibitions, restrictions may apply, announced by signs at the entrances.
Time needed
Allow at least three hours for a thorough visit to appreciate the diverse exhibits. The building's architecture itself is also worth seeing and requires extra time.

Getting there
