The estate featured over 40 rooms, including an impressive thermal bath complex with heated floors and a large water reservoir. Pisões is particularly famous for its exceptional mosaics, adorned with geometric patterns and hunting scenes, testifying to the high quality of life enjoyed by the Roman upper class. The discovery of the site in 1967 during agricultural work led to systematic excavations that also revealed a peristyle garden and burial structures.
