Rewal is the heart of one of Poland's most attractive coastal stretches, defined by its dramatic cliff coastline. The modern promenade features several viewing terraces offering spectacular vistas of the Baltic Sea and the wide sandy beach. A significant historic monument and major tourist attraction is the Seaside Narrow-Gauge Railway (Nadmorska Kolej Wąskotorowa), which connects Rewal with neighboring villages like Niechorze and Trzęsacz. Just a few kilometers away in Trzęsacz, visitors can see the famous ruins of a medieval church that fell victim to sea erosion over centuries; today, only one wall remains on the very edge of the cliff. Rewal itself is highly family-friendly, boasting a park filled with whale sculptures and numerous cycling paths along the shore. Local restaurants specialize in regional fish, particularly Baltic cod prepared in various styles. Reaching Rewal is easiest by car via the scenic coastal road 102. While the peak season of July and August has the best swimming weather, spring and autumn are handy for long hikes along the cliff paths, when the iodine-rich sea air is at its most potent.
