In recent decades, Repsol has invested heavily in desulfurization technology to enable the production of clean diesel and gasoline meeting Euro V standards. The refinery features modern port facilities for unloading crude oil from large tankers. As a strategic hub for the energy supply of the capital region, La Pampilla is vital for the logistics and continuous supply of industry and transportation in the center of the country.
