The Sahab Industrial Estate, officially known as the King Abdullah II Industrial Estate, is the largest and oldest industrial park in Jordan. Located southeast of Amman in the town of Sahab, it spans several million square meters of developed land. Established in 1984, it was the flagship project developed by the Jordan Industrial Estates Corporation (JIEC). Today, the estate houses over 400 companies operating in various sectors, including textiles, chemicals, food processing, and pharmaceuticals. The zone provides resident firms with significant tax incentives and advanced infrastructure, making it a prime destination for foreign direct investment. Its proximity to the Desert Highway ensures excellent logistical links to the Port of Aqaba and neighboring countries. With tens of thousands of people employed here, the Sahab Industrial Estate remains a cornerstone of Jordan’s national employment and industrial growth strategy.
