Oshima, also known as Izu Oshima, is a fascinating volcanic paradise just a short ferry ride from Tokyo. The island is dominated by the majestic Mount Mihara, whose ascent features sweeping views of the Pacific. Along the coast, visitors find extraordinary beaches such as Nodahama, good for diving, and Hinodehama, famous for its sunrises.
