San-Giuliano stretches from the mountainous interior of the Castagniccia region down to the Tyrrhenian Sea, typical of Corsica's eastern Costa Verde. The traditional village center is perched on the hillside, surrounded by dense chestnut and oak forests, offering clear views over the coastal plain and the sea. Down at the shoreline, the commune features extensive sandy beaches that are significantly less crowded than other Corsican destinations. These include Plage de Pisonaccio, Plage de Pianicciolli, and Plage de Fiorentina. The coastal hamlet of Prunete provides access to the popular Plage de Prunete, where small resorts and local eateries are clustered. The coastal plain of San-Giuliano is highly agricultural, renowned for cultivating citrus fruits, particularly clementines, as well as hazelnuts. The Alistro lighthouse, situated at the southern end of the commune, marks a distinct geographical point along this straight, sandy stretch of the Corsican eastern shore.
