Cléder is located on the Côte des Sables in northern Finistère, a municipality where agriculture and the sea live in harmony. The town is known for its 'Manoirs' (manor houses), such as the impressive Manoir de Tronjoly, and its numerous megalithic monuments. The coastal landscape is characterized by bizarre granite rock formations and vast dune areas inviting exploration. The beaches of Cléder are of exceptional beauty. Les Amiets is the municipality's most famous beach; it enchants with extremely fine white sand and turquoise water, giving it an almost tropical look. For surfers and windsurfers, Plage du Dossen is a popular meeting point. Quieter alternatives can be found at Plage de Crac'h zu and Plage de Kervaliou, well-suited for relaxed hours by the sea. The gently sloping waters make many beaches particularly child-friendly. Gastronomically, Cléder is part of Brittany's 'Golden Belt', a region famous for growing artichokes, cauliflower, and onions. Fresh seafood directly from local producers completes the culinary experience. Access is available via Morlaix or Roscoff. Cléder provides a great mix of cultural heritage, untouched nature, and some of the most extensive beaches in Northern Brittany.
