Supetarska Draga is one of the oldest settlements on the island of Rab, located at the end of a deep, fertile bay. The place is divided into two parts: Gornja (upper) and Donja (lower) Supetarska Draga. The bay is protected by offshore islets like Maman, Srednjak, and Sailovac, making it a paradise for sailors and boat owners. The most significant cultural monument is the Basilica of Saint Peter (crkva sv. Petra) from the 11th century. It is considered the oldest church on the island and is an outstanding example of Romanesque architecture that has remained almost unchanged to this day. Next to the church are the remains of a Benedictine monastery, which was once an important spiritual center. For tourists, Supetarska Draga gives excellent opportunities for water sports and fishing. The bay is known for its shallow sandy beaches, which are particularly popular with families with small children. Local gastronomy serves fresh fish and the famous Rab cake. The quiet atmosphere and natural beauty make this place a convenient destination for those seeking relaxation.
