Rasopasno is located in the interior of the island of Krk, in the Dubašnica region, not far from the popular resort of Malinska. Unlike the busy coastal towns, Rasopasno features an atmosphere of absolute peace and tranquility. The village is surrounded by dense oak and ash forests, which ensure a pleasant climate even on hot summer days. The village's architecture is characterized by massive stone houses with large balconies (ballature) typical of the island of Krk. Many of these houses have been converted into luxury holiday villas, while preserving the original charm. In Rasopasno, you can taste excellent homemade cheese and wine from the region. For nature lovers, there is a well-developed network of hiking and cycling trails leading through the surrounding forests down to the sea. The place is good for families or couples seeking privacy but wanting to have the beaches and gastronomic gives of Malinska within reach. Starry nights here are particularly impressive due to low light pollution.
