Port of Vitória (Brazil)

Weather…

The Port of Vitória is the primary port complex of Espírito Santo state, situated within a scenic bay that separates Vitória Island from the mainland. Established in the early 20th century as a specialized coffee export facility, it has since evolved into a diverse and multi-purpose logistical hub. Today, the complex comprises the public Port of Vitória and the private Port of Tubarão, the latter being one of the world's largest terminals for iron ore exportation. Geographically, the port's entrance is notable for its narrow passage flanked by towering granite formations such as Morro do Moreno. Economically, Vitória is critical for the export of steel, cellulose, and granite, as well as the importation of vehicles and consumer goods. Its modern infrastructure, integrated with the Vitória-Minas Railway, provides a highly efficient link between the mining districts of Minas Gerais and global markets.
