Zallaq is a coastal town on the west coast of Bahrain. It is famous for its pristine beaches, especially Al Jazaer Beach, one of the longest and most popular public beaches in the country. The area is a hub for luxury and recreation, hosting several five-star hotels and resorts, including the Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa. Part of the University of Bahrain's campus is also located in Zallaq. The area is less densely populated than the northern cities and gives a more tranquil and relaxed atmosphere. Near Zallaq is the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, which makes the area particularly popular during the Formula 1 season. The natural springs of Zallaq were once an important source of water. Today, Zallaq is synonymous with coastal luxury, relaxation, and leisure activities.
