Wat Sri Chum is a remarkable feature of the geography and culture of Thailand. A temple in Sukhothai Historical Park housing a massive, 15-meter tall seated Buddha statue called 'Phra Achana' inside a cubical mandapa. Phra Achana means 'one who is not frightened'. A legend says the statue once spoke to soldiers to encourage them. The walls have a secret passage.
