According to legend, the cave is inhabited by dwarfs or mystical beings whose footprints visitors can allegedly still find deep inside today. The cave extends for several kilometers beneath the earth's surface, though only a portion is accessible to visitors, as exploring the deeper sections requires specialized equipment and experience. Geologically, the cave was created by volcanic activity and shows impressive ceiling formations as well as solidified lava flows.
