Shogran
Shogran is a quiet find in the Kaghan Valley, situated on a lush green plateau at an altitude of 2,362 meters. The station is famous for its relaxed atmosphere and sweeping panoramic views of surrounding peaks like Malika Parbat. Shogran serves as the good base for adventures to the higher-altitude Siri Paye meadows. The landscape is characterized by dense pine forests and vast alpine pastures that come alive with wildflowers in spring. Visitors can enjoy hiking or take a jeep ride to the Paye meadows to experience true alpine splendor. The cool mountain air provides a first-rate retreat from the sweltering heat of the lowlands. Access is through the town of Kiwai, from where a steep mountain road leads up. The best time to visit is during summer (June to August), while the winter months (December to February) transform Shogran into a white snow paradise.
