The area is famous for its sweeping coastal scenery, surrounded by lush Mediterranean scrub and offering views of the majestic Tavolara Island. With its strategic location near the airport, it is a first-rate starting point for exploring the beauties of the Gallura coast. The beaches of Murta Maria are a true paradise. For relaxing beach days, Spiaggia Su Sarrale and the magnificent Li Cuncheddi beach are good, attracting visitors with their crystal clear water and white sand. Spiaggia Poltu Manzu and Lido del Sole are also very popular among tourists. A little further north borders Le Saline, another fantastic strip of sand.
