Located on the coast of Central Greece, Arkitsa is primarily known as an important ferry port to Edipsos on the island of Euboea. The town impresses with its inviting beaches such as Σχοινιά, Μεγάλη Σουβάλα, and Μικρή Σουβάλα, which offer calm waters and a relaxing atmosphere. The coastal stretches, mixed with pebbles and sand, are very well maintained. Village life mostly revolves around the port and the coastal road. Traditional tavernas and small ouzeries serve freshly caught fish and local Greek delicacies, often with a magnificent view of the blue sea.
