Picturesquely situated in the idyllic Enz Valley of Baden-Württemberg, Mühlacker is a welcoming town that delights nature lovers, history buffs, and active travelers alike. As the largest town in the Enzkreis district, it serves as a great gateway to the rolling hills of the Stromberg and the scenic Kraichgau region. While the towering radio mast is a modern landmark visible from miles away, the true charm of the town lies in its rich history and beautiful landscapes. Perched high above the city are the romantic ruins of Löffelstelz Castle, dating back to the 12th century. This historical site is a fantastic hiking destination, rewarding visitors with dramatic panoramic views over the meandering river valley and the sun-drenched vineyards. Running right alongside the river is the highly popular Enz Valley Cycle Path (Enztalradweg), which invites cyclists and walkers to embark on relaxing tours through unspoiled nature reserves and past characterful little villages. The beautifully landscaped parks along the riverbanks also provide wonderful green spaces to unwind.
