Bismarckturm Weißenburg

The Bismarckturm in Weißenburg is a historic observation tower situated on the Rohrberg, standing high above the picturesque Franconian landscape. Erected in 1911, it is one of the many Bismarck towers built across Germany to honor the former Chancellor Otto von Bismarck. Designed by the renowned architect Wilhelm Kreis, the tower features a robust, monumental style characteristic of the "Götterdämmerung" design, utilizing massive local stone to create a striking architectural presence on the hilltop.
