Dominican Monastery of the Holy Cross

The former Dominican Monastery of the Holy Cross in Augsburg has a long and eventful history dating back to the Middle Ages. Originally founded in the 13th century, it was an important center of spiritual life and theological teaching in the imperial city of Augsburg. The Dominican order, known for its intellectual focus and preaching activities, significantly shaped the spiritual climate of the city.
