During the winter months, the blooming mimosa plants transform the surrounding hills of the Tanneron massif into a bright yellow sea of color, an event celebrated every year at the end of January with a large local festival. Agriculture has a long-standing tradition here, as the fields surrounding the municipality also grow centifolia roses and jasmine, which are supplied directly to the major perfume houses in neighboring Grasse.
