Getting there
Located right off the northern coastal highway near Cabrera. A short, easy walk from the main road leads directly to the cape and the historical lighthouse viewing area.
Best season
Accessible year-round, but pleasant coastal breezes make the hotter summer months more bearable. Winter features slightly cooler, very comfortable temperatures for exploring.
Terrain & paths
The landscape features elevated coastal cliffs with dramatic, scenic drop-offs, grassy walking areas, and access points to small, scenic sandy beaches below the headland.
What to bring
Comfortable walking shoes are sufficient for the cliff top, along with sun protection and a camera. Bring a swimsuit and water shoes if planning to descend to the beaches.
Parking
There is an informal parking area near the entrance to the protected monument, close to the main highway. It is usually uncrowded and very easy to access for casual visitors.
Safety
Exercise extreme caution near the cliff edges, as there are often no safety barriers installed. Keep a close watch on children and avoid swimming in rough, churning surf conditions.
Time needed
A visit to admire the historical lighthouse, safely walk the scenic cliffs, and take photographs generally takes about one to two hours, though beachgoers will typically stay much longer.
