Otrić-Seoci is the main town of the Pojezerje municipality in the far northwest of the Dubrovnik-Neretva County. The settlement lies in a valley surrounded by gentle hills and the lake area from which the municipality takes its name. The regional economy is strongly driven by viticulture; the Pojezerje field is one of the most significant wine-growing regions in southern Croatia. Here, both local and international grape varieties thrive on the mineral-rich karst soil. The village exudes an authentic tranquility, far from the tourist crowds on the coast. For visitors, Otrić-Seoci provides a glimpse into the rural life of southern Dalmatia. The parish church of St. Nicholas in Otrić is the spiritual center of the community. The surrounding landscape is excellent for cycling tours and walks through the vineyards. A special experience is the proximity to the Baćina Lakes and the Neretva Delta, both reachable in a short time. In local wine cellars, guests can taste wines directly from the producer, often accompanied by homemade bread, honey, and olive oil. The region proudly preserves its traditions and folk customs, which come alive during local community festivals.
