Parque Bicentenario
Parque Bicentenario is one of the most significant modern green spaces in Santiago de Chile, located in the Vitacura district. It was created to commemorate the bicentennial of Chile's independence and spans approximately 30 hectares along the Mapocho River. The park is renowned for its meticulous landscaping, which features two artificial lagoons inhabited by flamingos, black-necked swans, and other bird species. In addition to expansive lawns, the park features modern recreational facilities, playgrounds, a dog park, and a prestigious restaurant. The park's architecture is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, with wide promenades and viewpoints offering vistas of the surrounding 'Sanhattan' financial district skyscrapers.
