The expansive zoo can be easily explored on foot and gives plenty of comfortably shaded outdoor areas for families wanting to view the various animal enclosures.
Typical hours
It is generally open during daylight hours, but it is highly recommended to arrive early in the morning to easily avoid the intense midday heat and crowds.

Photographing the animals and expansive landscapes is permitted throughout the grounds; a telephoto lens is highly recommended for capturing good wildlife shots.
