Jewel Changi Airport (Singapore)

Weather…

Jewel Changi Airport is a nature-themed entertainment and retail complex connected to the passenger terminals of Singapore's Changi Airport. Opened in April 2019, the structure was designed by a consortium led by architect Moshe Safdie and features a distinctive torus-shaped glass and steel facade. The centerpiece of Jewel is the HSBC Rain Vortex, which at 40 meters tall is the world's highest indoor waterfall. This spectacular feature is surrounded by the Shiseido Forest Valley, a terraced indoor garden containing over 2,000 trees and 100,000 shrubs. Beyond its natural wonders, the complex houses over 280 retail stores and dining outlets, as well as the Canopy Park on the topmost level. Jewel was designed to enhance Changi Airport's status not just as a transit hub, but as a lifestyle destination that integrates nature, architecture, and commerce.
