Borgo Maggiore Cable Car Station
The lower station of the Borgo Maggiore cable car is the fastest and arguably the most scenic way to reach the historic center of San Marino City on the summit of Monte Titano. In just about two minutes, the modern gondola ascends the steep slope, offering spectacular views of the surrounding Romagna landscape and the distant Adriatic coast. For many tourists, the ride itself is an unforgettable experience. The station is strategically located right next to one of the largest parking lots at the foot of the mountain (Piazzale Campo della Fiera), making it the great choice for visitors arriving by car. This allows them to elegantly bypass the often difficult search for parking and the traffic in the narrow streets of the historic center. With departures every 15 minutes during peak hours, the cable car is an efficient and convenient means of transportation.
