Al Sulaiteen Farm (Qatar)

Weather…

Al Sulaiteen Farm, officially known as Al Sulaiteen Agricultural & Industrial Complex (SAIC), is one of the pioneer companies in Qatar's agricultural sector. Founded in 1998 by Mr. Abdullah Salem Al Sulaiteen, the complex has developed into a leading producer of fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs, and ornamental plants. SAIC plays an important role in achieving national food security goals. The complex uses state-of-the-art agricultural technologies, including hydroponic systems and climate-controlled greenhouses, to minimize water consumption and maximize yield in the harsh desert environment. In addition to food production, SAIC is also a major player in landscaping and horticulture. They operate large nurseries that offer a wide range of plants, from annual flowers to mature trees, for private and commercial customers. The company also organizes seasonal flower and plant markets, which are very popular with the public. Although it is primarily a commercial operation, SAIC occasionally features tours for students and interest groups to promote awareness of modern farming techniques and the importance of local production.
