Kund Malir

Kund Malir is one of the most exotic and untouched beaches in Pakistan, located deep within the Hingol National Park in Balochistan. The uniqueness of this location lies in the dramatic meeting of the desert dunes and the deep blue Arabian Sea. The journey to Kund Malir via the Makran Coastal Highway is considered one of the most scenic drives in the world, passing by incredible natural rock formations like the 'Princess of Hope' and the Sphinx of Balochistan. Because of its remote location, there is very little commercial development, making it an excellent spot for stargazing and beach camping. Visitors can enjoy fresh catches of the day prepared by local fishermen. The best time to visit is during the winter months (October to February) when the desert heat is manageable. Travelers are advised to carry their own supplies and fuel from Karachi, as the 4-hour drive takes you through vast, uninhabited stretches of beautiful wilderness.
