National Christian Centre (Nigeria)

Weather…

The National Christian Centre, formerly known as the National Church of Nigeria, is a wide-open architectural masterpiece located in Abuja. Characterized by its striking, soaring neo-gothic design, the building features massive copper roofs, intricate stained glass windows, and a series of dramatic, interlocking arches. Although construction began in the late 1980s, the complex sat unfinished for decades until a major push allowed it to be completed in 2005, just in time for Nigeria's 45th independence anniversary. It serves as the primary interdenominational center for Christian worship in the capital and acts as the structural counterpart to the nearby National Mosque.
