Ruggeller Riet

Ruggeller Riet is a significant nature reserve located in the northernmost tip of Liechtenstein, covering an area of approximately 90 hectares. Situated near the borders with Austria and Switzerland, this low-lying peat bog is a crucial ecological sanctuary within the Rhine Valley. It is most famous for the blooming of the Siberian Iris in May and June, which transforms the landscape into a lively sea of blue.
