The Korgalzhyn Nature Reserve in central Kazakhstan is one of the most significant wetland systems in the world and part of the UNESCO World Heritage site 'Saryarka.' It encompasses a vast network of freshwater and saltwater lakes, including Lake Tengiz, which is larger than Lake Constance.
