Weather…

PMQ, short for Police Married Quarters, is a landmark creative hub located in the Hollywood Road area of Central, Hong Kong. Originally established in 1951 as residential blocks for police officers and their families, the site holds deeper historical significance as the former location of the Central School, Hong Kong's first government primary and secondary school. Reopened in 2014 after a major revitalization project, the complex now serves as a platform for over 100 'create-preneurs,' including local designers, jewelers, and fashion artists. The twin blocks, named Staunton and Hollywood, feature open studios where visitors can interact with makers and purchase unique, locally crafted goods. Beyond its retail and studio spaces, PMQ is a cultural focal point, hosting large-scale exhibitions, workshops, and popular night markets. It stands as a prime example of adaptive reuse, preserving the city's architectural heritage while fostering its contemporary creative industries.
