Weather…

The Hopewell Centre, located in the animated Wan Chai district, is a true icon of Hong Kong's architectural history. Upon its completion in 1980, this 216-meter tall cylindrical tower held the title of the tallest building in the city and was the first circular skyscraper in Hong Kong. Its unique round shape was designed to provide structural stability against typhoon-force winds while efficiently utilizing the restricted hillside site. One of its most famous features is the set of three external circular glass elevators, which provide a thrilling ride with panoramic views of Victoria Harbour and the urban landscape. The top of the building houses a revolving restaurant, allowing diners to enjoy a shifting 360-degree view of the city as it completes a full rotation in about an hour. Despite the emergence of much taller skyscrapers in recent decades, the Hopewell Centre's distinct silhouette and historical significance ensure its lasting place as a landmark in the ever-evolving Hong Kong skyline.
